Summary and Qualifications Ultrasound Technologist At HCA West

seeking an energetic Ultrasound Technologist on a full-time basis.

Your tasks and responsibilities as an Ultrasound Technologist (or
Sonographer) include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe,
competent manner
- Accurately perform sonogram examinations in a timely
manner
- Be responsible for recording and processing ultrasound
images
- Maintain statistical results for quality improvement
- Maintain proactive and effective communication with
radiologists regarding any unusual clinical findings, history,
and/or test results Qualifications
- A two-year Allied Health degree or successful completion of a
12-month CAAHEP approved program
- Valid ARDMS certification
- RVT - Registered Vascular Tech, or ARDMS Abdomen Specialty
(AB), or ARDMS OB/GYN Specialty within 1 year
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 1-3 years previous experience as an Ultrasound
Technologist
- Other skills needed: organizational, verbal, interpersonal,
customer relations, clerical, basic computer, mathematical,
analytical, grammar/spelling, reading, comprehension of written
instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions
