Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Professional Fee Coder to work
remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret medical record documentation to assign
appropriate professional fee codes
Mentor and train other Professional Fee Coders in compliant coding
standards
Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of
professional coding processes
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred in a
healthcare-related field
Minimum of 5 years of professional coding experience with knowledge
of complex service lines
Licensure or certifications such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, or CPC
required
Knowledge of medical and surgical coding rules, including NCCI,
NCD, and LCD
Experience with coding and billing requirements for various
healthcare settings
