Job Description:

Job Summary: Assist the Team Leader in daily operations, including profitability, expense control, and labor management. Lead and develop Team Members. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive company image.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Develop and maintain store layout and product merchandising.
  
• Work with Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
  
• Assist Team Leader in analyzing sales reports and labor.
  
• Assist with ordering and inventory management.
  
• Resolve team concerns and issues.
  
• Function as point person in absence of Team Leader.
  
• Set and achieve retail execution standards.
  
• Foster a positive team environment.
  
• Maintain customer awareness and direct Team Members to satisfy customers.
  
• Select, train, and develop Team Members.
  
• Communicate and maintain Team Member safety standards.
  
• Provide performance evaluations.
  
• Communicate WFM vision and goals.

    Experience:
    
    • 
      
    • 18+ months retail experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
      
      
      Physical Requirements:
      
      • 
        
      • Lift 50 pounds.
        
      • Stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
        
      • Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
        
      • Ability to handle knives and cutting equipment.
        
      • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
