Remote Clinical Documentation Specialist

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Remote Clinical Documentation Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Review and assess patient clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve unclear documentation
Educate clinical staff on best practices for documentation and coding

Required Qualifications

Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be compact)
CCDS or CDIP certification required
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or related roles
Strong understanding of ICD-10 coding and reimbursement methodologies
Proficiency in clinical documentation software and EHR systems
