Job Summary: As the Business Development Manager for the
Custom/Regional Builder Market, you will be responsible for
developing and implementing strategies to increase our presence and
market share among local and regional builders. You will play a key
role in identifying and securing new business opportunities,
building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and
driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:Market Research and Analysis: - Conduct
thorough market research to identify potential national builders
and emerging trends in the construction industry. - Analyze
competitor activities and market dynamics to identify opportunities
for differentiation.Strategic Planning: - Develop and execute a
strategic business development plan focused on the national builder
segment. - Set realistic and achievable targets for market
penetration and revenue growth.Lead Generation and Prospecting: -
Identify and target potential national builder clients through
proactive outreach and networking. - Generate leads through
partnerships, industry events, and other relevant
channels.Relationship Building: - Cultivate and maintain strong
relationships with key decision-makers within national builder
firms. - Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other
stakeholders to understand their roofing needs and tailor
solutions.Product Knowledge and Presentation: - Stay informed about
the latest roofing technologies, materials, and industry best
practices. - Present our roofing solutions effectively,
highlighting their benefits and aligning them with the specific
needs of national builders.Proposal Development and Negotiation: -
Prepare compelling proposals and presentations tailored to national
builder projects. - Negotiate terms and contracts with clients to
ensure mutually beneficial agreements.Cross-functional
Collaboration: - Attending all company meetings via video
conference or in person as required - Assisting in the year end
budget process and adhering to the division budget provided by
meeting or exceeding budgeted sales goals. - Site visits of current
work to ensure safety compliance of the team and quality checks of
the work being performed. Any and all concerns are to be brought up
to the branch. - Work closely with the marketing and technical
teams to ensure cohesive messaging and support. - Collaborate with
internal teams to ensure successful project implementation and
client satisfaction.Reporting and Analysis: - Provide regular
reports on business development activities, progress, and
challenges. - Analyze sales data to measure the effectiveness of
strategies and make data-driven adjustments.Qualifications: -
Proven experience in business development, preferably in the
construction or roofing industry. - Strong understanding of the
national builder market and its unique requirements. - Excellent
communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. -
Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales
targets. - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related
field is preferred.Base salary is $50,000 plus commission.
