Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Engineer - Power Flow to join
their Power Flow team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate, maintain, and improve Power Flow models for trading
activities
Analyze large datasets to model and forecast power market
fundamentals
Predict congestion and pricing trends to inform trading
strategies
Qualifications:
Master's degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Mathematics,
Computer Science, Physics, or related discipline)
5+ years of experience in power markets, including roles in
transmission engineering or power trading analysis
FTR trading experience is an asset
Proficiency in SQL and Python or similar programming languages
Expertise in Power Flow and production cost modeling using relevant
tools
